Sailing outta the sea of uncertainty, and slight tramontana, facing a stirred and bustled world, without knowing where the wind may come from, but its consequences are felt even in the film industry, showcasing the tight race of many looking for their anchorage.

Fostering education through entertainment, we are shining a spotlight on the importance of education and developing young audiences, by enhancing the production of independent content for children, but also our Let’s start from 0 mission, including children in the early processes, not only through exhibition, but also development.

We are happy to continue the partnership with Animafest Zagreb, and start a new one with BLON, an animation and gaming festival from Lithuania, bringing their short film programmes to inspire young ones to prepare film posters, in partnership with Split Nomad Gallery, taking a look at the films through their eyes.

That is why we are hosting a masterclass, in partnership with Studio Šesnić & Turković, not only learning but also opening up the floor for a fruitful conversation on the processes of developing a film poster.

Together with Pilot Studio, we will continue with our workshop Give your voice for the cinema, where this year, not only students, but also the youngest, will experience sharing their voice for the adaptation of a short animated film.

During the workshop Turn Your Idea Into A Game, children will learn to develop their own game, but also develop their own storybook at the workshop Silent Book, Talking Illustrations, led by illustrator and animator Hana Tintor.

Our industry programme will be opened by the Intimacy Coordination Training with Amanda Blumenthal, first of its kind in Croatia, and in partnership with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, of the highest importance for creating a safe(r) working environment in the film industry.

We are strong advocates of decentralisation and year-round activities and we are inviting you to sail off with us into a playful audiovisual world in the charming Split, but also follow new anchoring opportunities planned for this autumn.
